Has anybody tried putting 250R plastic on a 400ex frame? Howd that work out if anybody has tried it. I like the look of it a lot just wanting to see whos all done it.

hey man i am gonna try it this winter i am takin my dads r plastic and gonna try and mount them on my 400

yes, it will work. But you have to change brackets, and fabricate some things. I havent done, it but I have seen it done before.

i just got 250r fullbores for mine and everythign will work, i just need a 250r tank. u need to make a bracket to mount the tank but so far it doesnt look like theres anything that you would have to weld as far as brackets.

the only reason u need a 250r tank is cuz theres a gap between the 250r seat and the EX gas tank. but i didnt even try usin a 400ex seat.

if i dont sell it here soon im just gonna keep it and run it next year. hopefully get some motor work done..
