Ok I have been doing my research and I still have come to the conclusion of....ZIP! What im basically looking for is a good trail quad or bike, and the ones that I have narrowed it down to are the Z400 (etc.) the 400ex, or a crf250x, decide for me!

You can get killer deals on used 400ex's right now - but if you have the cash to buy new I would say get a 04 Z or KFZ for the water cooling and reverse.

ok another question, ive been onto other forums and websites searching information on how to break in a z400 and have not found a clear straigh answer yet, so im asking here....How the hell do I break one of these things in?

i did 10 hours of nothing more than 1/2 throttle, went thru all the gears. changed the oil and filter & radiator fluid from the stuff that came in it from the showroom floor before i did this.

did this all on one Saturday.

my motor runs very strong for a Z400 motor. i have ridden Z400s not broken in this way and they feel a little sluggish to me.

i might be a little prejudiced though

dont get a z400with the weakframes ! get the DVX400,they reinforced the frame+they look badass

Not true, suzuki fixed the frames for the 2004 models, and plus the cat is like 200-300 bucks more
