Can maier plastic be used with a clark gas tank?

No, I have a clark tank that I got and I was going to try and fit it to my Maier plastic and after looking at it for about 30 min I decided that it was going to be not worth the effort to make it work. If you have stock plastic it looks very good. Do you want a 5.5 gal tank not used? I ended up with an IMS tank instead.
