Case Saver Question

I just received my case saver from Nac's. Do I have to take the chain off to install it? It doesn't seem to want to slide over the chain links, but it looks like it would fit between the case and the rollers.
Any help appreciated.

Take the old crapy case saver off. And the new one should mount right up and fit between the chain and case,,You DO NOT have to take the chain off.

unless you are running a 16 tooth sproket, then it wont fit. Make sure you have the wider part down.

There is no way this one will sneak around the chain. I took the gray sprocket cover off, and there seemed to already be a case saver there. Does one come on it stock? It had no brand name or anything stamped on it. Maybe I do have a larger sprocket. I bought the EX used, so anything is possible. It had a bunch of aftermarket stuff on it when I bought it, so the previous owner might have added a different sprocket.

Take the stock one off and replace it with the aftermarket one you bought.
