I do want to check out Windrock sometime though. I still can't believe they have 72,000 acres - although they say "only" 12,000 are mapped and marked.

It's in TN - between Knoxville and Nashville I think. I've heard it awesome. It's actually managed by a riding club and it's $10 a day.

windrock is a great place to ride.Theres is a little of every thing there.Im going in Oct for the big fall ride they have there. This will be my 3rd time and i still will have alot left that i havent seen after this trip. Not mapped as well as hatfield but still some great riding. They also have some killer jeeps and trucks up there.Last time there was 4-6 of em going up the mtn tru the woods over rocks the size of vw's.Like something you see on tv! I was very impressed at what they were doing.if you want some details about the ride or the area check out www.atvtime.com There is a couple fourms on it.
And it only about 30 mins. NW of Knoxville.A little town called Oliver Springs.I hear that you can ride from there to Roal blue in Ky. In the spring they did a 100 mile ride.not sure if they will for the fall ride or not

I wish I could go to the fall ride
I have a family thing that weekend, sort of a once a year family reunion that I can't miss. I really want to go down there, but it's going to be getting too cold for camping before you know it
Maybe we should get Rico to coordinate a exriders ride down there next spring
