Well im 14 6'2 350lbs and I am getting sick of my Grizzly 600 4x4.So i have decided to get a sport quad.Here is a list of what i had in mind
1.Yamaha Raptor 660 i have heard about the power being to much i dont know?.
2.Yamaha Banshee 350 I have had my eye's on this forever and i love it.
3.KX 500 I also like this mean bike.

If you can post what your experience was with each.Please dont hold back on things I need to know all and what would be a good bike.

P.S. Yes I am experienced I have ridin almost every bike out there.

well if your thinkin about a 500 2 stroke bike, you better look into them more, cause as you said with the raptor, the power IS to much, they will put you on your *** in a hurry and you better be very good on a bike if you want one......if you dont ride bikes, i wouldnt get a 500

What kind of riding do you do ? Shee's are awesome quads. Very reliable as long as you take care of them.....and fast

Personally I don't care to ride the raptor. I would rather ride a z400 over the raptor.. I have ridden the banshee they are a lot of fun in wide open areas ( I can't ride a 2 stroke to save my life). I have been real happy with my 400ex and you can't beat the price right now on them

You are a bigger guy you might like the DS650, but they are a monster..

i say go for a banshee banshee will be worth it the raptor is slower then a banshee and banshees are going cheap... there a big quad to... but if u want a 4 stroke thats reliabel i say get a 400ex but sit on one first you might feel uncomfortabel but ur best bet is either a raptor , banshee , or a ds650

I don't mean to sound mean, but if your 350 pound I don't really think that your up to handling the power of a kx 500 or shee or something, but it could be a typo

We are gonna need to get some more info about you before we make a reccomendation on what you should purchase. For instance; How many years of experience do you have riding atv/ dirtbikes? What kind of riding are you gonna be doing on these quads(racing, trail riding, leisure riding, play riding etc.? Are you truly 350lbs.? If so you should look into one of the larger machines like the kawasaki v-force 700 , ds650 or raptor. If you have not ridden a dirtbike before then buying a kx 500 would be absolute suicide. Are you in fairly good shape?, the reason I ask is because, to ride a higher horsepower machine like a bansheee , raptor, or any of the quads you listed is quite a workout and difficult to control especially if you are in great shape.

Yeh i usualy just ride for fun i dont race but i am experienced.I do like the shee and am realy looking at it.I kinda dont want another auto and the ds650 is to damn big to have no reverse.

The power is equal to a banshee, just not as abrupt, and with alot more bottom end and torque. If you think you could handle it, then I would reccomend checking them out. you can get a brand new cannibal for under $4,300 OTD. The are really light so when you need to turn them around you can lift the back end up and pivot it around.....it is that light!

Around here Cannondale Speeds, Motos, and Canibals go all around 6-12 grand.

I am in ok shape i am not like very fat i am mostly tall.Yeh i am ready for the shee i can handle a cr250 and rm and a lol blaster lol.I think it would be worth it.I just wanna know if there has been any prob's like how often do plugs foul and how easy to start stuff like that.I know the rappy's had a starter and carb problem but anything about the shee?.Please be honest.I made a mistake when i got my grizzly because some one messed up.

I just bought a brand new, still in the crate, I even had to install the battery Cannibal. I paid $3800 plus $180 shipping. That is it.

Get on Cannondaleriders.com and ask NRath if he has any more. 4punksdad bought one off him too.

Have you taken a look at the Polaris Preditor? Its probably just as fast as a banshee. It works way better in the woods than a Banshee does. The only problem with the quad is its pretty heavy (415lbs).

My 250 was 3,899.99..... and I just found out my dealer is gettin sued for somethin about how they dont assemble quads the rite way or somethin, so Il ask him and see what he says.

Ya those are probably your 2 best choices. If you dont do alotta jumpin go with the DS cause of its weight and size, and if you like gettin air and goin fast the Raptor would be great for you.
