Yep, from what I have heard it fits pretty easily actually. I know that the 400ex plastic fits the R, so why not the other way around? I think you gotta build a couple brackets and drill a couple holes in the plastics, thats abou tit.

My couz brought his 250r plasctic to my house so we could try it. It would prob fit but wouldn't look that great.Right where the side panels go, there is a very large open area there and the gas tank and stuff shows thu.I don't think it is worth the try.It would also require fab. brackets to it.
