A friend of mine has one. It is huge and heavy. But it is also faster than people who dont know think.

There was one at The Badlands a few weeks ago and it waxed everthing in 13 out of 13 drag races. It had a stock pipe and it beat modified 400EX's, a few Z's and a few 250R's.

well i'll be just racing and ripping threw trails with it, and i love speed. so u think its a good bike for me? cause like theres a 2001 here for 4,200 and thats canadian. anymore input?

That is cheap but I wouldnt get it for tight trails. The darn this is as wide as my sisters @$$. 50 inches or so. Get a used Cannibal and you will be much happier for the same price.

i'd love to have a dale but i've never seen one in alberta,not one. and im pretty sure they wont be that cheap.

If that's in canadian $ for that ds650 that is darn cheap & I would prolly jump on it. If my math is right that is just a shade over $3,000 for a new one

It will be aweful big for woods riding tho. If you look around exriders carefully you can get a new dale for $4,000 US$.

4000 us is more than 6000 canadian and this ds is only 4100 canadian. so thats like under 2500 in the US

I just bought another Dale and paid $3800 brand new still in the crate. I have seen 02 Cannibals used for around $2500 on ebay and other places.

But again, the DS is too big for woods at any price. It would be like trying to park an H1 in a single car garage.

my dad has one- The machine is not for you if your under, like 160lbs. They take weight to truely control. I don't like my dad's because I'm 130lbs, My dad loves it, he's around 190lbs. in little saharah, when I had my ported, piped, k&n clamp on filters,bored,ect. banshee... we dragged, he was darn close behind.It could have been the fact that I had only had the banshee 6 months previous to Little Saharah(and I learned how to drive clutch on it) and he had better paddles than me, but still ds650's are balls to the walls in the sand

. the trails they are pretty good to.BTW my dad's ds650 is all stock.-darren

yea they are defintily tanks onc the 300 sells that will prolly be my next quad. NOt for tight trails though they are really wide heard they dont jump all that well but if you are over 200 pounds you can control it pretty much its a toy for the bigger boys (literally) lol when i rode one i thought that the power and speed was pretty inpressive considering its size and the motor form what iv heard is bulit proof

get the ds for that price you would be crazy to pass it up ..

first for any one who thinks a ds is slow .
go find one tell him hes slow then race him and see what happens ..
. out of the last 3 shoot outs it was rated the fastest stock atv from 0-30 30-70

so don,t count out the ds in any type of racing

i have had my ds in canada and up there all i found where loggin roads and that is ds country .. i was 4th 5th gearing the hole way ...

the ds is great at jumping .. if u have ever been to jack frost u might have seen me .. there isn,t a jump out there that i can,t clear with my ds .

its got the most travel for any stock shocks

yeah for sure get the DS, i had a 2001 and i loved it. i could jump anything and smoke any raptor out there. only thing is they dont like telephone polls much
