Well I raced the ol YFZ today lets just say awesome!! My nerfbars didnt come friday so I got to race with out them so that blew, but the track owners didn't mind. Not to many quads showed up today, but it was still a great race. I ended up getting a 1-1, so I cleaned house. On both holeshots a pulled atleast 2-3 bikelengths in about 150-200yrds against some nice 400exs, and a 426ex.

I only got pics of my first moto cuz the camera went dead before the second. But my first moto I had a good race with this guy on a 400. We pulled away from everyone else and he actually passed me and I got him back.. Second moto I was gone. I cleared every jump on this track with ease on the YFZ while my old 300 wouldnt even think about it.

I won my first race on my yfz also. I smoked my clutch in the second race. Too bad because I was in the lead by a long shot too. My younger brother got 3rd on his new yfz.

I raced against Z-fire in the race he's talking about. I would call it mud bogging mx - thats what happens when 36 hours of rain hit a mx track made of peat dirt. Basically we just tried to keep from getting stuck and sliding off the track. Well I was winning that first moto until I got stuck in the second to last berm, on my trusty 400ex. Z-fire and I were battling a little bit on the second moto until I spun out in the same berm that got me before. I ended up passing Z-fire after he got stuck and burned up his clutch. I was digging peat dirt out of my eyes for a day after that race- man it was muddy.

Ok, so I didn't mention all the mud, but I did win the first race, thanks to you sliding off the track. And I was in the lead when I smoked my clutch in the second race.

By the way, congrats on the win!

How did you smoke the clutch by the way? Tonight I try out the cannondale. I'm sure if the track conditions had been dry the yami would have been hard to stay with. It was a lot of fun though - my jersey is now black vs white. When are we getting together?

I guess that I was just over using it try'n to get through the mud. Lucky me, Yamaha payed to fix her.

Me and Veddersbetter are planing on doing some riding Sunday. if your interested let me know. I am not sure where yet.

I was at Pine Grove a little over a week ago, being my girlfriends pit bi*ch. Anyway, those 450's really impressed me, they sure are quick and FAST!!
