Me and Spincr4hire are in. This will be the first Exriders trip and first time at H/M for both of us. As of now we're plannin on getting down there thursday night, riding fri/sat and heading home sunday am. Lookin forward to meeting everyone...

i'm not sure when were goin to be down as of yet i had planed on leaving after work on thursday but i just remember the other day that i have clases until 9:15 on thursday so that throws a monkey wrench into my plans i think were goin to leave right after school and head down which should put me in there around 3 or 4 in the morning i'm sure some of you will still be up around then to help to help up put up our tents

Well them 2 lane roads let ya go about 25 MPH tops... Interstate is 70 mph all the way to the camp ground.
Brokitboy knows the backway gettin there. We tried it once and after it took us 2 hours to go 53 miles we decided to stay on the interstate and leave the backroads to all the billhilly's....

Today I just got word I have a client moving into their new building... Their computer network needs to be online Monday 29th @ 8am. I cant move their computer equipment and servers until Saturday morning (the 27th) because they need to have it working in their old building, Friday the 26th. So I'm basically ****'d.

Oh nooo not rockhouse lodge j/k never stayed there. If your riding Rockhouse make sure your careful and enoy the mud b4 you get to Gilbert I believe my favorite trails are Bearwallow and Waterways.

Waterways, Waterways, Waterways!!! Never ridden the other trailheads but from what I hear there is no reason too!!! You can roll on the Waterways if you like to ride fast!!! You gotta hit Waterways!!! Let me know if you and your group are going to Waterways and I would gladly drive down and meet up with everyone for the ride!!! Havent hit up many bars down there but Rolling Thunder Xtreme Park is a nice place to go. I believe Sat. night is drag race night. We had a blast sitting there eating, drinking and watching fowheelas haul arseOh yea and Rico's ****** works there hehe
And if you hit Waterways definitely let Motoman know, he knows the best trails there and likes to let er rip

How far is Waterways from Man, WV? I am assuming that we will have to trailer up there. We have a big group, but will probably split up into two groups (sportbikes and utilities). Maybe we could head up the Waterway on Saturday and ride with you.

I am not real sure how far away Man is from the Waterways Trailhead. I feel safe to say that it is no more than an hour or less. Taco, correct me if I'm wrong but I think all four trailheads are within an hour or so of each other. I do know you will have to trailer your quads though. Saturday the 20th sounds great to me. Just let me know what time. Taco??? K2's going to the beach that week so he would be out.

Man is a good solid 45 minutes south of waterways. Worth the drive to waterways though. I HIGHLY recommend makin the road trip. Bearwallow is about 15 minutes north of man and lots of fun.
Ps..you guys are probably goin down thru charlseton on 119 to logan. You'll pass waterways trailhead on the way there about 20 minutes south of charlston..
Rockhouse is fun and fast but the 5 miles of water puddles,,not really mud but water puddles sucks major MAJOR ***. 2nd gear half throttle is *** fast as you can go thru this chit...
Make sure to go to rollin thunder..you'll pass it on the way to man on your way down... can't miss the mofo..look for the mountainside cleared out for the hillclimb. Tell my ****** i said hi..

We actually planned this trip with a group that usually ride at Wayne National Forest. We planned this trip at the ATVTime forum site. We had to plan it based on everyone in our groups availability. Maybe next year some of us can make it down to one of your HM rides.

If this is your first time, the black trails are no joke. If your not one hell of a good rider, stay off them.
Other than that, this will be the best riding you'll ever have, if you trail ride.
Xandada has ridden Wayne I believe and I think he will say Hatfield is 10x's better.

Exactly...the ground is packed down to hard for there to be mud...just lots and lots and lots and lots of water puddles. Some are 1 inch deep some are 6...just hammer down and lean back and hope for the best....

When I was there, we just gave it hell and went as fast as we could over the puddles. We skipped across them hoping that there weren't any large rocks under the surface of the water. This is the best way to go b/c you don't get wet.

The people in the campground are loud and annoying. They start there quads in the middle of the night and race there engines.
The jiggly room only has 2 girls.

Quick question for everyone comin on this trip. This is my first one and I'm a big ole fat guy that needs alot of food and drink. Does everyone bring their own food and cook their own food or is this like a group effort with one person doing the cooking and everyone chips in on the food??? Everyone usually brings there own food. There are a few fast food places, close by.
I suggust going to the walmart and just buy your food there. Less stuff to lug in the car, and you don't have to waste the ice on the trip down.
