400ex rear brake help?????

hi i took my brake pad off the rear today to put a new one on and when it was off i pushed the pedal because i was cleaning it.. now i cant fit a new brake pad in.. please help, what should i do????

YOU need to get a C-clamp and press the caliper back in..or a large set of pliers,,,put the old pads back on when doin this..

on the inside of the caliper you'll see were the piston comes out , you need to push that piston back in by using a c clamp or pliers.
dont be alarmed if you see brake fuild come out of your ressi, sometimes that happens if you have alot of fluid on there.

take the caliper the (break) in your hand and get a pair of channal lock pleirs and open them up and clamp down on the piston that pushes on the break pad and press it back in it will be slow but it will go back in or get the c clamp that rico was talking about and tighten it up untill it pushes it back in.
