just got my hand on a used rear shock for 400ex but it has a mx heavy spring on it

should i use that spring or the stock spring?

YOu mentioned that you've got a shock but what are you puttin the shock on??? A warrior, a 300ex, a 400ex, a tecotty, etc., etc, etc.

Also what kind of rider are you. How big are you, what rider weight size was teh shock built for???

oh i see, its going on a 03 400ex some how all the gas leak out of my stock shock. i do alot of track riding and alot of drag racing .

well if the your old stock shock was too soft then I would run the new shock with the heavy spring.
