I got the Gunner lanyard for my 300EX, looking at a prodesign install the ignition boxes are the same on the 400 and 300ex. My question is, where the Black wire with a yellow stripe goes into the black box under the right fender, can I pull the black wire out of the white plastic connector?

For those not familiar with the Gunner Kill switch, it has the ground. Then another wire with two ends on it, one has a rounded metal piece to insert into the clip the factory wire went into. You then insert the factory wire into a crimp style connector also on the gunner switch. Im just nervouse about pulling that factory + coil wire out of the connector there. Thanks guys

I wouldn't pull a wire out of that white connector. On the 400ex it plugged in on the wire somewhere by the coil. It has been a while, so I don't remember exactly where.
