if your racing MX would you run a skid plate? im open to suggestions ?! right now im not running one but whenever i take hard lanndings i get a whole bunch of dirt trapped between the motor and the frame?! so should i install !?

I would if your getting dirt stuck in your frame from hard landings. that and it will help keep paint on it to keep it from rusting.

i run one on mine just because i dont do purely mx right now. i also ride some knarly trails. but i would put at least your stock one on if not get an aftermarket one like ac

yea you should deffinatly run one. i dont have one yet and the bottom of my frame is pretty banged up. im going to get an ac full skid soon. but i dont think you need a-arm skids or swing arm skid.

the skid plate will save you from damaging the motor and frame and help glide over a jump if you case it. If you are concerned about weight use a maier plastic one.

if you have the money get one. what i mean by that is after you get shocks and all. they do help alot for gliding over bump and protecting the motor from rocks. especially in your case since you have dirt getting stuck in your frame.

what do you have to lose by not running one
