My 400ex makes weird noise at idle. It sounds like it doesnt have any oil in it. (A metal-on-metal friction noise) I hope i am not ruining my engine right now

I use MOTUL 5100 synthetic oil (5w50 or 10w50 or 10w40... but not 10w30) I also use Hyperthec oil. Is MOTUL a good choice ? MOBIL1 is better ?

I have used mobil 1 in all my quads for 5 years and i have never had a problem, i run 15w50, i just buy it by the case and use it in my trucks also.

When I got my 300 it ran really hot so we put Motul in it, & it seems to run cooler now. But it is a little spendy!!
