i have a polaris trail boss 325 2x4 and me and my friend were ridiing in the creek and we did it for like all day and it was a lil past my tires and the last part of the day we went ridin though it one more time and on the way out of the creek after going though the part that goes up to the top of the tires was not working right it would move very little i would have the thottle max and it would go slow then once we got on the road it got a little better by the time we got home i think it was ok but what was the problem????

That took 5 or 6 reads to semi-understand. Try using punctuation.
It seems like the water got into your tranny and wet the belts, making them slip. This is normal for automatics, and as you discovered, they do dry out and work normally again.
