im getting frustrated with the scratches in my 400's plastic, ive seen plastic renew for sale for around 15 bucks, has anyone used that and does it actually help?

I heard somthign about it looks good for a little while then it just makes your plastic look worse than it did before you used it

I've used it before and it worked great. The problem is that it takes a lot of sanding to get it looking real nice. I spent about 3 hours on mine and it looked great, but within one week of riding it needs to be done again. I finally gave up because it wasn't that important to me to have shiney plastic. Good luck. It does work but expect to spend a lot of time on sanding.

AFTER WASHING, TAKE AN OLD RAG OR CLOTH, SOAK IT WITH WD-40 AND WIPE AWAY. YOUR PLASTIC WILL LOOK BETTER THAN NEW!! ( AT LEAST UNTIL IT GETS DIRTY)

i just take "son of a gun" or any thing that makes stuff shine and put it on a rag and wipe the plastic. it looks great till u get it muddy. a couple of days ago i just spryed alot of it on the plastic when it was dirty from the last time i raced it at the end of the summer and ir just came right off and looks like i washed it. its great

I use Mop And Glo floor wax on my fenders and it seems to do the trick. I have to reapply about once a month. I used the Plastic renew once. It looked great for a few days, but after it got wet a few times it got a milky look to it.
