In my area ds650s are going cheap. Are they a good bike or not? Why dont more people own them is there a down side to owning one? what years are bad or are all of them the same? Are they easy to work on/ get parts for? and do they break easier then other quads? srry about all the questions

i cant answer all those q's but ill try some....
yes they are a good bike
alot of ppl dont own them becuase they are on the heavy side
all years are praciticly the same but there are different models like the baja and the baja X to choose from
i would think they are sort of difficult to work on but im not 100% sure. and i would think parts would be easy to find since bombardier is still in business and making parts
im not sure about the rest

my dad has one, yes. They are pretty big but they have a big arse motor. When I dragged my banshee against it it'd be VERY close every time. But I never liked it in the narly trails, and its.....big. but in wide open stuff like nice open trals or better yet-dunes I'd definetly recommend it.

oh yeah I forgot the suspention is insanly nice and cushy

they have great power and the suspention is nice, the only thing id suggest is getting a steering dampor, the bump steer is horrible when going over whoops or bumpy trails

how wide are they? is it as wide as a grizzly?(the grizzly will just fit through my trails) and what about working on them?easy hard?
thanks for all the info
