my budy has a 300ex and asked me if id check his valves and help him adjust them if needed. My question concerns the specs for the 300. I have a manual for my 250x, but im not sure if the clearances are the same on both quads to use my manual. Does anybidy have any info on the valves for the 300ex.

i'm not sure exactly but i think the specs from the 250x will work. this is what i used and on the intake valves they didn't change they were the same as the manual said they were supposed to be. so i figured that was a good sign and adjusted them to those specs.

My book says .004" on both intake and exhaust. Remember to check it COLD and you'll be fine.

my cymler manuel calls for 10 thousandths on intake and exhaust (300 ex) dont forget that there are 4 valves and it torqe on the retainer for the valves is only 8 ft lbs
