Damn did anyone see that thing, I was in walmart lookin at it the other day and some kid had a turbo charged blaster in there, he took a turbo off of a van or sumthin from a junkyard and rigged it all up, sounds pretty damn stupid to me

Just wonderin if anyone else saw this

Posted by: theTman

ya that is stupid...the thing is gonna blow up if he rides it tooo hard..

Dear Dirt Wheeles,
This is how to double the horsepower of your blaster for only 20$. I went to a junkyard and pickd up this TE04H turbocharger for a Caravan 2.5L. Then i bought some stuff at Lowe, welded old exhaust pieces together and got everything hooked up and working. There is no waster gate, no blow off valve, and the carb is stock. Who would have thought u could get boost from a two-stroke
Tom DeTomaso
Willoughby, OH
Be careful with that, tom. at 20lbs of boost something might blow.

i think were gonna see a letter next month sayin his blaster exploded and blew up his garage

not only is it a dumb idea in the first place but it also looked like his blaster wasnt well taken care of and could fall apart at any moment

you just mad cuz your 250 is like that too

A turbo shouldn't have any positive effect on the HP of a 2-stroke, since the pipe acts like a turbocharger, hence why you have a powerband. But let the hick have his fun untill he satrts it up and it blows..

Nope not really, I've just seen blasters, and there really not built that solid, what looks like it'll stay together better??? I think the 250x and 300ex look a lot sturdier then a blaster and heck its been proven But I understand that u like ur blaster and hell thats all that matters, everyone has there own opinions So thats mine

lmao

Posted by: Jingle

if u do that we will stick that turbo up ur arse and see how much boost it puts off.

Posted by: PHIL_B54

does a turbo even work on a 2 smoke?

with the ports overlaping wouldnt it blow good fuel right out the pipe? and dont you have to have a constant fuel delivery system , like a fuel pump to keep the fuel pressure constant?

i think the kid just wanted to be in dirt wheels

It looks like something that you would see on Junkyard Wars.
