What kind of socket do you use to get plug out of a 400EX? I tried a regular socket but it won't fit down far enough.

18mm deep wall, but craftsman worked for me, i tried another name, and the side would not fit down, too fat.

If you have access to grinder, get a check 18mm socket and keep grinding until it fits.

Or you can just go to your local shop and pick up an OEM Tool Kit because the spark plug socket they provide works perfect.

i got a spark plug wrench similar to the stop one at my suzuki dealership for like 6 bucks
