WEll I just got back today and all I can say is WOW!!!!!!!What a trip!!!
We had a great turn out of riders from Exriders and one from Wyoduners web site,also a few locals.This was the best bunch of people I think Ive ever rode with.
Exriders were: Thorchick,AndrewRRR,Dune Surfer,out4sand,Natertot426ex,Raptor Rules,Justin St. Jeor,Yamisaki somehow we missed you...
.....(please forgive me if I forgot anyone
) There was somewhere around 20 plus that showed up.No injuries to report and only one break down the last day of the trip for one rider.The weather was VERY HOT Im thinking it was around 100DG or better a few days. One day we had winds of around 40-50 MPH but by later that eve. it settled down..I have a ton of pics Im going to post so give me a few minutes to resize them all... I have some short clips also.but unfortunately.....they turned out like chit 
.... (time to figure out how to use my new digi camcorder for short clips...)If ANY of you have a chance to come out and ride the dunes in Idaho......DO!!!!!!!! Weather is often hard to determine if you go in the spring, but if you can stand some heat, your pretty much guarenteed a good ride.... .......Im already looking forward to next year ride, and a trip to the Ore coast.....I was VERY glad to have meet you all,lets try and get together again in the future...... Ok here we go....... Here are a few pics of the dunes to start off the pics........

This is over near the resort I think.Its smaller stuff but ALOT more razorbacks and witches eyes. theres some really good jumps on this side but the good bowls are all over on the other side where the big dunes are..my Next trip out I want to start WAAAYYYY down where no one go's and ride ...

one word....AWESOME!!!!! if it would have actually been jetting for the elevation there, it would have been running even better too... only problem was a blow bead on a paddle and a problem with a bolt that had to be replaced. we noticed a bit of sand in the water wteer too(in the radiator) so it is going to get checked out this wk.its strange,no leak.so how can sand get in???

We'll post some of our pictures now, though they aren't as good as I thought once I resized them. We had a great time this weekend and met some very cool people we wished we lived a lot closer to. Hopefully this year goes by quickly so that the next EXRiders ride comes quickly, especially if its going to be here in Oregon. And I still owe Tina a drink since we never got around to finishing off my raspberry vodka and lemonade. We'll camp on the dunes when you guys come here Tina and you and I can get sloshed, hehehe.

QJ, the sand looks soooo soft in the pics. How is it riding? I know the dunes at Pismo can get a little rough in some spots, although there are some really nice soft spots. In all your pics the sand looks absolutely perfect though! Is it really that nice or does it just look that way cause the pics?

Oh, the sand is VERY soft.....Dune Surfer told me its comaprable to Glamis Sand. The only really rough spots are at the drag hills and a few bowls,but by morning alot of it gets smoothed out by wind,its very soft sand.......

I am going there in Aug. I am dissapointed that choke cherri is easy to make it up. I was looking for a challenge for the 350pv. Was the 400ex moded? Is there anything difficult?

I really like the one with everyone lined up in the lip of a dune, that would be really cool to see in person.
I just got back from Coos Bay/ Horsefall where I met up with a bunch of people from nwquadriders We had a great time as well and the weather was great, even with the occasional wind storm. I even have the same sunburnt nose! It's a strange feeling riding up and over a dune when it is real windy, getting sandbalsted and can hardly see the edge of the dune!
I should have pics up by the end ofthe week
Let me know asap on the next "Dunetopia" trip, I really want to go. When do you plan on coming out this way?

My friend Jon that was with me had to go to work out of town for the next few days so He may not get the pictures sent to me until next week but he has some really awesome ones too. It was nice meeting all of you and can't wait to do it again.

Joe,Im thinking prol. around this same time of year next year,that way Im passed the major holidays(I have to work most of them) and we will be out of the rainy weather(I remember living in Hebo and it raining all the time)We will be out for about a week I think for the trip out your way thatway we can play for a day at Winchester,Coos Bay, Florence ect..Sucks for TRoy .... HE will have to go to stock pipe for the trip out there ...DB level is a 105 on the Predator,in Idaho we dont have a DB....

LOL!!!! Ok..if you insist.... I dunno, you seemd to be running pretty darn good to me!!Troys is going in today as well. He needs to find out why hes getting sand in the raidator and find out about that axle bolt that keeps stipping out,I think the torque specs are wrong in the manual. Two bolts in one week when jumping...... Gonna talk to Polaris about it today.....

I just got home, Stopped in salt lake to get my counter sprocket seal repaired. No problem. It was covered under warrenty. What a great trip By far the best groop trip I have been on. !! Tina and Troy were great host. I think everyone in the groop had a good time. Big dunes, good riders, over all a fantastic time. Troy is funny as he** and can ride like the devil. Tina is a sweetheart. Out for sand. is way cool, Nate, Wyo, and the rest were a ball to ride with. Well worth the drive. I'll post some pics later when I get some rest.

Glad you had a great time, if you ever want to come down let me knowyour always welcome....... So, did you get to hit Little Sahara ??? Im sure Troy and I will be down to Cali in the future to ride then you can be our tour guide! I got a little tid bit on that sand that was in Troys Radiator..........there was NO WAY it got in there with no leak..................ON ITS OWN....gee,hmmmm I wonder WHO would have done that?? 
I can think of three that might have......and I bet you have an idea too but I know NONE of them will never fess up.....

It wasw a Looooonnnnng drive but worth it Everyone was great. I had a great time riding with eveyone. Espeacially Troy, that boy can ride plus if he ever needs a job he can do stand up (comedy)
Mike aka out for sand, Is super cool. He is a good rider and his shee hauls!!. We like to ride the same, blowing through the bowls FAST.
Nate is mellow and his 426ex is fast. he is also a good rider but his ex would get pretty hot ripping through the bowls. Jon, nate's friend is cool and that pic of him jumping is awesome.
Thorchick and Andrew drove over from Oregon and were good people (thorchick can ride)
Tina was our PC ( party coodinator) and made sure everyone had a good time....WE DID
Justin and his wife were nice, I'm glad they made it up from SLC.
Bob and his wife drove over from Jackson Wy. and were cool. Picture a tall drink of water cowboy and you get Bob
Troy and Tina's friends Brad and Ryan were fun although Brad's wife was a little touchy
This was one of the best groop trips I have ever been on. The vibe was perfect, the riding was great, the dunes were BIG and smooth. We did alot of jumping , climbing, and bowl riding. Saint Anthony's rocks!!!

LMAO!!!!!!......Im afraid the answer is .....yes to that.... but come rain or shine Sat we rae going to our local spot to ride so I can get a good luagh at how lame it REALLY is here.... Its all good though,better than no sand and the kids are DYING to ride... Ill make sure and pad the ole tushy good...lol.... you know............in total Troy and I added it up..........32 huors (give or take an hour here and there) in four days,.thats enough to give anyone blisters......

Its not THAT easy......Just ask Wyoduner how many stock 400ex's make it up.not too many...... All I have in a Yoshi full system.Alot has to do with the rider too......

Oh, also...My 400ex BARELY made it up in first gear at the top.second gear 3/4 of the way.We had three other 400ex's go one All of them couldnt get up Choke, and one had a hot cam and rev box and only made it up a little over half way....If you ride to the sides of choke its even steeper there too. Do worry, you will have the time of your life,never met someone who was dissapointed with St. A's........ Wait until you ride Dead Horse and Devils dune.....

Don't worry about finding difficult terrain, the biggest dunes in the country. I ride glamis all the time and st A's is taller. you will be able to challenge yourself
