Now that the YZ is out there, and some of you have riden it, you can fill me in on a few details.
Will some of th parts fit on our honda's? (A-arms, swingarm ect..)
Is the Yzf considered +1 or +2 when compared to our stock 400ex's, and R's.
All 3, "from the factory" stock, doe the YZ have a wider stance?
If you have a YZ and 400ex or R, is the YZ's frame wider or narrower than the honda's?..
...(if he YZ is 2 incheswider, in the front, and the frame is 2 inches wider, then the arms are the same length...
If the frame is a 1 inch narrower, and the YZ sit's 2iche's wider than our honda's, then the YZ's arms are a good 3 inche's wider.
So, do they bolt up to our honda's?
...prolly not, just curiouse.

i dont think they are going to make parts compatable to the honda or any other bike, so people can go grab their parts and throw it on their competitors bike.. i havent see too many if any parts that are compadable ... just my knowledge

i didn't figure they would,
..but c-dale, and z4 shocks and stuff entercage with honda's right? So i thought we might get lucky.
i see your point though.

Both upper and lower mounts for the front shocks are about a half inch wider than on a 400ex.
The width at the front is the same as my ex with +1 a-arms.
The a-arms will not fit.
The width of the frame is an inch narrower at the upper a-arm mounts, but the lower is about the same.
Not sure about the swing arm.
