if someone would happen to have their plastics off on their 400ex could you take a picture of how your wiring harness is ran up along and through the chassis? or know where i could find a picture of that offhand i would appreciate it.

It just runs along the top of the frame. you can use quick ties instead of that dumb clip method. Personally I like zip ties better because the you can get colour ones.
