Well I need a swingarm skid (I was thinking of making my own... but...) and I was wonder if the protect is worth the $145 they want for it? Does anyone know how much it weights? Is it stainless steel?

I don't hit a lot of rocks but occasionally I hit a few real good ones. What about the armadillo .250 (1/4") thick one... I like the price much better, below $100 on Rocky moutain. Any info on either would be great! Thanks!

PS I did do a search but I would like specific info only on this skids, and theres not a lot of specific info on the protect.

if you don't need it much maybe you could get a factory one, or get a factory or aftermarket one off of ebay, if you want a new one, PRM makes awsome protection for everything, so i would look into one of them
