I have a 300ex and i wana know if i should set the axle for +2 or +4? i dont think +4 would be to wide but im not sure? What do you all think?

But this is a 300ex he is talking about. +4 in the rear would be the same as a stock 400ex, right ? That means he gets alot more stability but its still not too wide for xc

no i got a +4 axle and its just about 50 1/2 inches. (old pic)

Guess I was wrong. On hondas website it said that the width on a 300ex is 43.5 so with a +4 wouldnt it be 47.5.
Do you have stock wheels ? Nice looking 300 though

If you widen he axle make sure your a arms arent too much less wide than the rear, or it handles funny.

yeah i have douglas rims so them probably make it little wider also. but i have put stock rims on and it doesnt make it much different.

yeah it does handle funny with the rear end way wider than the front!! hats why i got 400ex a-arms and shocks and OMG did that help so much better!!

yeah im putting some new a arms on up front to. I just dont want to be two wide for the trail but on a 300 i shouldnt have a problem.

if u race an oval track make one side +4 and the other +2 for good cornering!!heheh

50 1/2 if ****ing wide for a 300, i have a +4 on my 400 adn its only 50 even!!! and in know for sure a stock 400 is a tit wider than stock 300, u must have some offset wheels or something!!
