i am planning on racing mx next season and i am wondering how do i go about doing this? like what does my quad have to have on it and how it needs to be set up in order to race, what are the rules and basicly how does it all work, i know that these are all dumb questions but i just want to know everything that i can about racing mx.

you need a pipe jetting good airfilter and know how to jump, you have to kinda teach yourself

all you really need is some nerf bars, a killswitch, and a good pair of handle bars. a pipe and air filter would be your basic motor mods that you would want, but if you plan on getting into racing, you should focus on your suspension first- shocks, a-arms, axle, etc.... also some mx tires would be a good thing to have also
