well last night my dad got his 1955 Chevy Bel Air back from a shop becuase he ahd to replace the valves and drop a new tranny in it..well anyways were going to the Columbus car show nationals this weekedn hopefully and he told me to polish everything under the hood today..most of it is chrome so i justa wipe mothers on and wipe it off...but he said he wanted al the aluminum parts to loke chrome..and the radiator and radiator hose clamps were the only aluminum part in it....so i figured i would post a few pics...heres the radiator

If i remebr correctly that radiator on ur dads belair was chrome plated

cept the fact its NOT chrome.....it was basicaly brushed aluminum....

well i did the cases....and they look pretty good..so i guess there chromed cuz it seems like i dont have the skills to make something lok almost chrome....hmmph

ok..heres the pic of the engine.....compare the radiator to the rest of the engine...the pic isnt the best...but yes the ENGINE is 100% chrome....the radiator isnt

this car wasnt made in japan

its called american muscle thas pushing out around 500hp.....if ya got a lotta HP already, you dont need NOS....

it didnt drop a valve....or a tranny....if you notice there is no carb, my dad recently had this thing fuel injected..the guy that did was a dumbass and had it running way lean....so it fried 2 valves...and then the guy asked my dad what was the cars average RPM's driving down the road...it was about 4-5 and that is kinda high for average driving..so they put a taller tranny

i was close...its the thing that gos on the leaf springs and when you fill it up it raises the back end right?...i was looking at those before...nice car though..what year is it? 67?

sorta, it replaces the springs...its like air bags..wich is a cheaper version of hydraulics (sp?)...this model is jsut slower than air bags..its not ment to drop and raise in a second...its a 55....and redrebel..im not sure if ill be there or not..im just hoping to be there, i love going..and if we are both there....thers a slim to none chance of you finiding the car...theres like 43543534 cars there

were you there 2 years ago when the guy that one it had over 500,000 dollars in his car? it was a purple color, the kid was like 19 and retired because he designed something for bill gates....if you remember that car we were there that year parked right next to it..with the bel air

Hmm...The car that this belongs to is pushing a little under 600hp...then you flip the switch and get 850.

sure it would be great o have Nitrous, but im sure that guy drag races that too? my dad just uses this car to go to car shows, and drive around on special occasions, no need for a bottle in this car
