Just wondering if anyone ever uses a couple ounces of fuel additives to clean the fuel system. If so what brand (I use BG 44K in my truck) and did you notice any difference?

I dont think its gonna do anything for ya. I'd save the $$$ and just buy premium gas.

What about Octane booster? It will bring the octane up and I can get it cheaper then high octane gas... $10 for a six (or 12, cant remember) pack and it brings it to 105 octane.

I posted this question a few weeks back. The general feedback that octaine booster does not help much if any. I mixed 50/50 premimum 91 oct. with race fuel. I did notice a difference on the performance.

they're not cheap, there the ones payin money for the good stuff, you cant run 94 in a built motor
back to the original question, arent the car fuel addictives for cleaning fuel injectors?
I dont really see why you'd need to clean your fuel system, theres a strainer in your gas tank and you could always buy a fuel filter if you wanted

well that octane booster I was talking about said it would bring regular (87 octane) to 105 so it should (legally) and its not a bad price for 5 gallons it works out to like 1$ a bottle...
