the front upper shock mounts cracked and rusted now its going to the dealer monday to get a new frame. they said it should be under warranty. ive only had it since october. this sucks i cant race for like a month

will they not give you a frame so you can do it urself. Also are the frame they replace the old one with different in anyway

hopefully my frame will last till this winter, then it will get re-inforced and pc'd, but no signs of cracks yet <knock on wood>

i dont know if they will give me just the frame? its goin in monday to be checked out. if i dont pay labor ill let them do it. its just too new and i dont think i should have to deal with it. and i think the frame ill get is updated

any of them that are rode even moderatly aggressive crack like that. Find a welder and have him gusset it so you can ride. I doubt you will get a new frame and even if you do it will crack on you again.

they say the frame ill get is updated and my dad wont let me fix it. he wants it covered and done by the dealer for free. now ill be out of racing for a while

i have a kfx400 and one both sides under the shock mounts there is stress marks. idk if that means its gonna crack or what. hopefully it will last till winter and then ill get it gussested and pc'd. also suzuki does not know how to make radiator mounts. the mounts itself are real nice but they solder to little spots to hold on the radiator. both sides both and i the radiator hit my top oil line and put a hole in the radiator and the radiator put a hole in my coolant line. my dealer seemed mad but if they knew how to make good brackets then stuff woukd break. also for the exhaust muffler, the top mount broke cuz they just tack welded the mount on so when i was at the exriders rausch ride, my muffler mount broke and know i got a big ol' dent in my mufler. i called the dealer and he sid it wasnt under warranty so i just welded it pretty good myself. the quad is a real good quad, the only problem is their damn welding skills

that sucks man, I noticed a lot of cracks in my 300EX frame recently, my dad just welded them back up and I'm right back to riding, d@mn Honda, can't get a frame right...

your not going to gusset and powder coat it. maybe gusset because you can weld maybe but...

Suzuki is probably just saying that it is a improved frame. It will probably just crack on you again. That is why I bought my 03' 400ex because of those piece of chit Suzuki frames.:confused2
