I have hit a little small natural tabletop in 5th gear pinned on my 300ex, a few months after I first got it. The jump only put me about 3-4ft in the air and 65ft long (measured the jump). But when I landed I was very close to slidding sideways and flipping over. So I dont think I will be hitting anymore jumps going that fast.

Isnt a 300's top speed more along the lines of 60-70 cuz our rancher and 300 will run 50 and i know a 300ex is faster than that.

Ive hit jumps going 4th and 5th gear too. But only ones that have good straight lips on the jump. The natural tabletop wasnt really even a jump.

i do hit that jump 5th gear pinned. In case you have havent noticed thats like 15-18 feet high (thats three people tall), im going 80ft out.

i`ll get some pics of our step up if i can find them, they are at my buddies sandpit and we hit them in 5th gear pinned on my 300, my buddies 400 and 6th gear on my buddies blaster its cruising and yes we got tons of air, but my buddies blaster allways bottomed out just hitting the step up launch ramp

MXQUAD294 has the best lookin 300ex (well 250x). and i dont doubt that u guys hit jumps 5th gear pinned on a 300ex, because ive hit a few 5th gear pinned on my 440ex.. usually i dont use 5th though since theres not much difference between 4th gear and 5th on mine.

the stickers on the fenders are mostly from gouges then the other ones are mostly to make the scratch cover-uppers look right, the fmf sticker covers the dent/hole in my bumper from rocks hitting it on the rail road tracks i ride on
i ordered my piston from CT racing, ans it also holds a piece of my graphic that got ripped off and soaked that flaps around with it
it may be a beaten peice of crap but i just use the free ay to make it look halfway decent

I would love to see all of you 300ex guys hitting jumps actually, and maybe you could hit a table at rausch, in 5th that is, good for you, you might have had a good open end spot to get to that speed....
seeing that most people with 300ex's are around the age of 14, I dont really see how you can grow the balls to hit a jump of some magnitude at least in 5th pinned.....maybe just slightly maybe, you could a rausch creek at a good mx track with a nice berm or what not to come out of and a nice table landing....
I do not start anything thing with a bunch of kids here, I simply am more or less stating the obvious, with an exception of a few...

Everyone knows that the fx400's had problems when they came out. The guy i bought it from took it back to have the problems fixed...instead of just fixing them they installed a whole new moto engine.
When i bought it it had the engine, nerfs, and a bumper...i added everything else.
Didn't mean to piss anyone off man!! jeesh

im not 14 im 16, ever since i started riding ive raced, exept my mom made me stop because i cased a double after coming out of a birm and having someone ride over my back tire and onto my leg at the brim of the of the jump, resaulting in 2 broken arms, this was 2 years ago and i still cant feel the tips on my left ring and middle finger and my mom got sick of watch that stuff happen, might i add i raced intermediate B when i was 14 and i still go to the tracks everyother weekend during practice to ride with mym buddys. and the one thing that makes me angry is when people i dont know doubt my riding skills,and you may not be 14 but it seems your maturity level is at 12 and youve prolly got the balls of a rooster not to even consider the chance of anyone hitting a tabletop in fifth pinned, in my eyes you seem rediculous and ludicris making these statements on something youve never acknowledged in real life and it seems to me like you should probably practice allitle more ofton so u can try to take some jumps

how my maturity is a 12 year olds I am not really understanding of either, I am stating an opinion, and stating the obvious, that a some kids are hitting doubles 5th pinned with a 300ex w/ stock shocks
go right ahead and retaliate (sp?) but I will not, I am not into fighting with people half way across the fuggin U.S.

yep that was me. i'm now 14 1/2 and i'm still in the band except we've gotten much more serious and since my wrist broke i've been makin songs up and the CD WILL be coming in 2 or 3 months I PROMISE. now i have my 3** which i'm selling next year and getting a 440 hopefully.

I have a WebCam , Port and polish , and A wiesco Piston, it is running EXTREMELY strong right now for some reason , no problem keeping up with 400ex on the drag. Yes I ride it , As a matter of fact last friday , the day i tool this picture , i went to a place called Haspin Acres yo race with it but the races got delayed for some reason , had fun on the MX track and the drag strip. EEEwwww I'm going out today to put my motor back together & then I'll have to get some pics of my 300 now it is goin to look somewhat different hopefully better than before I'll be sure & take some pics when it's totally finished!!
some of the things I've done to it lately are, got new tires & rims for rear, got new grooved radials w/ offset rims for the front, took & sanded all my plastics down & clear coated, put some new "graphics" on it, now if I could just replace my nerf nets it would look way better but they are riveted on & don't know if I want to get into that yet, I'll have to see.
Man that is one nice lookin little 250X!!!!
So I'll be posting some pics next week hopefully

thats because it is a 350x engine in a 300ex body
it looks like he customized and welded a 400 or 300 pipe to the header (2 into 1)
