its offically dead. i can charge it all day long and its dead 20 minutes later. no big surprise its been going downhill for a few months. i've tried searching for this but couldnt find it. does anyone know if i can get a replacement battery for a 400EX at wal-mart or autozone?

id reccommend getting one from your dealer or off ebay....

well i just answered my question. i just got back from wal-mart and their battery finder computer tells you what battery fits a 300 or 400EX. I never woud have thought of that. EverStart ES9BS is the exact battery. I would have got one from my Honda dealer but they were closed and I needed to get the quad ready for the track tomarrow. Wal-Mart was my only option.

sorry for the really late reply but i had forgot about this thread. i payed around 45 dollars for the battery at wal-mart. as far as getting a higher cranking battery, i've never had any problems with mine turning over my high compression 440. the factory battery worked great until it suddenly decided to die a while back, but it had been running strong for 3 years.
