Today at my second race the trail was really tight and I bought ITP front rims and they add a couple inches out. Well I was hitting trees left and right then my chain jamed off due to a log, then passing someone I flipped and the quad landed ontop of me, long story short I came out with a sprained shoulder, bent up rims and screwed up tie rods, when racing xc should I buy narrow rims or what, help a beginner out.

I thought I was the only one that rides like that!!
If the trails that your riding on are that tight maybe put your front end back to stock..& try to stay on the quad that helps to..LOL

You probally got a 2+3 offset instead of a 3+2!
