do you guys and gals think a twist throttle would be a good upgrade for racing harescrambles. I used to ride dirtbikes and it seems you could have a better run with a twist.

i preper twists, i like the beter feel in the air like u have more control on the handle bars and your thumb doesnt go dead after awhile

any other suggestions

Since you used to ride dirt bikes, then yes that would be a big advantage for you!

Try searching the forums on this topic, we go over this about 1-2 times a month. Not trying to be a smart arse, but if you search you'll get more info faster also...

Personal preference. I hate twist throttles. I learned to ride with a thumb throttle, and when I bought my 250r, it had a twist throttle on it. I had to switch it back to a thumb throttle. My buddy, on the other hand, grew up riding dirtbikes and will never own any quad without a twist throttle.
