whats a better pipe, a curtis sparks X-6 or a trinity racing?for a 400ex with a edelbrock quiksilver carb

I heard people hate the trinity pipe.. I also heard people say the Sparks rusts... I'd go with the sparks thou. Pipes get rust on them once in a while but nothing a bit of metal polish can't take out....

Ask yourself, "In the future, if I get motor work done, Where will it be, trinity or sparks?" Thats where you should get your pipe from. Thats just my perspective, though.

For dunes LRD is definitly great... and the chrome just makes it better for the dunes...

im gonna tell you like it is, dont let anyone else tell you else wise, ok the sparks is a better pipe hands down and the thing about the rust only happens on the ceramic pipes, so you can always go stainless like i did, but soon after i bought mine i found out when you go with the ceramic, the material its made of with will cool better and help the pipe release heat better than the stainless, so if you can live with a couple of little spots of rust(wich rarelly ever occurs) than i would do your self a favor & go with the ceramic sparks x6!!

all of yall have good ideas of what you think is the best but..... In my opinion yall are wrong. These are all good pipes which give you alot of power but the CT is the best. I just have the bolt in unit and it gave me more torque than i know what to do with. Not to mention dirtwheels rated it the best and it's the loudest pipe they tested to and it dosnt sound like a huge fart it sounds well i cant describe it but it sounds great. I would get the CT sonic and order a free flowing point down end cap. And that in my opinion is the sweetest pipe you can buy!

Well I didn't see that issue but I wouldn't buy anything based on Dirtwheels oppinion. That magazine is hella byast. Anywase go with the Sparks x-6 it will give you very good power gaines and the only time I have ever gotten rust on the pipe was when I am riding near salt water and that will buff right out with some mothers polish. All of those exhausts mentioned above are good but in my oppinion the Sparks is the best.
