A couple of my friends both have the desire to buy some new shocks for their quads. Neither are sure about what kind of shocks to buy. They want front and rear but want to stay under $1000. If for some reason they could only get a front set, what kind do all of you guys run? Any info is greatly appreciated.

They aren't when there real members. This Uncle Cletus character is another member trying to be funny and there not. Whoever you are, you are obviously not as funny as whoever does Monkeyboy, Slapnutz and CUZ'n. You call her "maw maw" yet none of the other 3 do--inconsistency #1. You can't spell simple words yet you can spell Tallywacker--inconsistency #2. Your grammar and punctuation float around. Sometimes you talk in complete sentences and then mysteriously sometimes you don't--inconsistency #3. This new character is just not funny. Kill off this character!! I beg of the other 3, ask Uncle Cletus to leave---it's killing your bit. And then Uncle Cletus reports this thread to the mods? A fake character is going to report the thread? Absolutely stupid.
