They say you get 30% off power to pull it.

I don't while shifting up but always when shifting down.. Mainly while racing...while just out riding I use it the entire time pretty much...

Posted by: cudaman

oh ok. i heard that speed shifting wasnt the best for the bike, is this true

Posted by: Brad

i always clutch when shifting, ALWAYS, and i bought the more expensive one at 33$

Posted by: cudaman

yeah i always shift too. i figured speed shifting was hard on te bike. oh well i guess its personal pref.

i don't know about you guys, but i always pull the clutch in to shift. i would rather have sore arms then have something go wrong. i have a easy pull, and somedays go riding for 10hrs in the mountains, and my fingers do still hurt, so i think i will look into the hydraulic.

Ive never got a sore arm from the clutch, i usually speed shift on the start then use the clutch just enough to smooth out the shifting when riding. I like my msr raptor perch and lever, easy pull and it is hella sweet.
