This isn't big-air but it scared me

i wasn't ready for it and I don't do big air

Landed nearly straight up and down and wasn't sure if i'd fall forward or backward

thats bigger than air than i usually get at the dunes. i've landed straight up and down and it sucks, i was on the front of my 400 but wasnt going to bail.

OK, so it's not that big of a deal, but I just got the pics from this weekend's Sand Mountain trip, so here's a shot. man, there was some weird weather there this weekend... I'll start a new thread with other pics... by the way, this was my first trip with my new Arens nerfs! (you can almost read his name in that pic) I love 'em!! No more running over my foot when my dirtbike reaction kicks in on the dunes...

you know.....now that I look at the pic closer I posted the wrong pic....

BUT.yes, this is the jump that blew the bead,he landed it a bit side wyas on that rear left tire even with 5 lbs PSI that day he blew the bead.no biggie, he just had to gimp back to camp with a Razr on one and a paddle on the other

was all good to go the next day......

I fixed the jump up last time I was riding, so its much better now. I'll get some new pics if we go tomorow.

yeah, some great big air guys. I got some really huge air at silver lake on my old R, and even got put in a little magazine. I measured it and the double was like 68 ft!!!!!, it was 6th gear pinned on my nationally ported R, so i was hauling ***!!!....also the length is long, but from what i was told, you could park 2 and a 1/2 lifted trucks underneath me. Unfortunately on the last jump of the day a breeze hit me on the lip and i baled and was out cold for about 5 minutes, and had some wicked cuts and bruizes from the quad hitting me. The quad actually held up weell from the crash, it had bent my handlebars and broke my clutch perch, so i just threw on a crappy set of bars, and an old perch, and rode the rest of the day. WOW, while i was typing this my friend just showed me a pic he brought over, yeah, i was pretty damn far up there, HOLY **** this is huge, im never gonna do it again......well, maybe a couple times......

P.S.....this was at silver lake sand dunes
