I just talked to Skat Trak about those tires today and they reccomended them for my 400ex, what size a rim did you go with and where did you find them. I like to go with a .160 douglas but im having a heck on a time getting it in a 8-9 inch rim
I am running a 10 inch right now..... thanks , Tina
Posted by: Bretmd94
I run an 8" rim, Its best for traction but you have to worry about beads. Im thinking about throwing down for some bead locks this summer so i dont have to worry about it.

Yeah the 8 inch is a beeitch to get too and cant get it in alot for the .160 rim so Ill maybe stick to a 9 or heck maybe ill just stick with what I knowworks my turbos,I just like to try new paddles from time to time and wanted to put the turbos on the Predator..Anyhow, hope you enjoy your stay here.....

They are a 10 in rim. I think they are .160 I dont know for sure. I got them at Cycle Country in Salem.

Welcome! Born and raised in Portland/Beaverton myself, currently in Phoenix. Just a word of advice, try the "search" feature for some of the more basic questions (jetting, oil preferences, etc.), and if you can't find what you need, by all means, start a new thread. Again, welcome to the site.

Welcome to the site good to see a west coaster as there are alot of Oregonites here aren't there. Hey Joex, wouldn't he be my neighbor if he moved to Molalla. just thought I'd throw that out there.
Posted by: twisted threads
Thats cool, when I go hunting down in Oregon I go near Molalla.
We all need to hook up some weekend at Sandlakes and ride.
Posted by: rhandw69
A good friend of mine lives out near Redland. He and his family also ride the dunes. Next weekend me and the wife are heading down there to look at some property sites for possible future builds. About a month ago, i went and watched his kids play a baseball game out in Oregon City, and on the way back he took me through these backroads that i seen guys riding on. I think it was way off the redland highway or way out that way. Either way, its a beautiful area. What a guy needs to have is his own lot rite up against the sand dunes.

dingo... Where have you been? Haven't heard from you in awhile!
I've been turning a few laps on the track lately trying to get back into shape
Gotta get up there more often. What days off do you have?
We have a pretty good showing here at exriders for the great northwest.
We need to get a NW-EXRIDERS ride together!

Welcome! I'm from Eugene, only about 55 miles from Florence so if you ever want to ride with someone "local" email me and we'll set up a ride. I go to Sandlake pretty often and almost kinda sorta met rhandw69, but we didn't realize it until after the weekend was over. lol

Another Oregonian welcoming you to the forum
I live in eastern Oregon but hope to hook up with QuadJunkies and others close by for an exriders ride
Posted by: ThorChick
So, whats everyone' plans for this weekend? Some friends and I are heading over to Florence for saturday so if anyone wants to join that would be great. We usually park at the first South Jetty parking lot and we'll be there between 7 or 8 am.

Some of those turn-arounds are deceiving. I went down a big one on my '97 CR250, and it took me an hour to get back out!!! I finally got a decent run and side-hilled out of it. I felt like a real arse.
Posted by: LazeR
ahhh dont worry no one has ever heard of Yoncalla.! well i was gonna scan a pic of my quad and post it but i cant get it outa this damn collage thing.....so i will have to find another!! anyway its all stock so its not to exciting lol
