well i was at the local track i go to last sunday and i saw this guy with a yzf 426 engine in his 400 frame and ive never seen any quad go that fast and clear every jump at that track...how much does this kind of engine cost?? do any pro's use it?

yes pros use it....
but dont think your gunna clear all the jumps by putting this engine in your frame...

i'm gonna build a me a quad with a yz400f motor in it starting in august, and i know yamaha is coming out with a new quad, but i'd rather use a proven motor in a proven frame.

dude are u kidding me..... a yzf426 u must b ****ting urself....i race with my raptor 66o with a jet kit,extended swingarm,bigger rear and front axel,new hydrolic breaks,bew bar,new pistons,exhaust and shocks so far ive put about 7,000 into the quad so u guys aint got ****

i didnt know single cylinder raptors had "pistons" i thought it only had a piston and a front axle that must be for the 3 stroke motor you put in there huh........lol...there are some dumb ppl in this world and he is one of them

I think what he was trying to say is he has a longer rear axel and longer front A arms. For moto cross a wider quad is better. For woods you don't wont to be fat.
