Side Covers Won't Stay On!

i purchased a 99 400ex and i can't get one side cover to stay on. Ive bought some of that epoxy crap u mix and that didn't work. I don't kno what to use. Ive heard this was a common problem. Plz help. Thanks Joey

Do you know what a screwdriver is. Preferably a phillips, cause thats what it takes to screw it into the frame on the rear part of the plastic. Then you take those little black plastic lockers and push them into the holes where they line up to the front plastic. When you push them in that will lock them. I knew you could do it. See that wasnt that hard.

have you tried zip ties??



just drill holes in your plastic and put a zip tie through there and it should hold. use a black zip tie so its not so easily seen

i figured out why it was coming out.First of all, the clipclosest to the gas lid is broke off.But the main problem is that the mount on top of the shock was bent so it was throwin it all out of whack.I fixed it last night hopefully it won't eva come out.
