i ordered mine through Smackover Motorsports, i've been on the phone with them almost every day since i placed the order... so i have been buggin them a little. it's a small mom & pop owned shop that has primarily done enduro bikes until now & has a good rep on a dirtbike site i've frequented. mine was thier first quad to build & they took it to a hare scramble to display this weekend... hopefully it's on the way now though... i'll call again in the morning.
Chauncy, i tried to send the pics... it said your mailbox is full. i'll try again later.
three are of it still strapped to the pallet, one is of Jim & gabe testing it... Jim owns the shop(navy shirt), Gabe (his son) sold it to me(white shirt)... he races a Z400 in scrambles.

I saw one on sunday at a race , It wasn't racing it was just there with the gas gas dealer , it looked sweet tho.

called them again earlier today, they got sick after the race & didn't get it ready yet... they'll re-crate & ship on thursday, forward air should have it here monday or tuesday at sea-tac.

Nice Pics... i was wondering How much did you pay for it i'm thanking about geting one once i get a job. Hope you Enjoy your new Gas Gas

7095+ shipping...
i've read your thread on which one to get... the hp300 is WIDE(51" in front).... most XC racers like a narrower machine (about 46" max)

So how is the power and handling?
Posted by: AndreS
it should be here on monday or tuedsay at the forward air terminal.
talking with the shop, it looks like i got the deal-of-deals on it, value of the dollar has dropped with respect to the euro recently & thus the price has gone up by like $200-300

nice pics.

to nice
can i ride it?
Posted by: AndreS
i just got it in yesterday but didn't have any time to ride it even in the driveway, need to bleed out the clutch the rest of the way, they shipped it with the bars upside down & it got some air in the line.
my older brother helped pick it up & is totally impressed with the suspension, brakes & switch assembly.... the euro lights & horn are too cool! in a strange way, i want to put turn signals on, even for just a short time.
overall it looks sweet & runs nice, seems like it's idling too fast & jetting is way too rich (drooling tailpipe), but i'll leave it that way for the first two tanks of gas & take it easy.
the swingarm skid plate will need some reinforcement for some of the rough places around here...
