My friend had gotten dirt in his gas tank. He is pretty sure that he clogged his fuel lines.

What is the best way to empty the tank and clean all the lines?

He is also worried that it might of got into he carb. It their much to worry about and what should he do?

Is this all he would have to clean?

take the tank off or there is a line that goes to the petcock take them off drain the gas like that

why is there dirt in the tank? old gas can maybe

The best way for me to clean the carb for me is to take the carb all apart and clean the passages.
