I was just wondering if you wear knee pads when riding your quad on trail rides. I dont mean knee braces, I mean knee pads like fox, thor, etc....

Posted by: sweet300ex

nope, but it would be a good idea

yeah i wear em i almost feel naked without em when im wearin my shift shorts and thor boots. i wear the thor quadrants and they seem to work pretty good and you cant even notice em when you ride

Yep I wear mine everytime I ride my quad. Dress for the crash not the ride.

Yeah, I always wear mine when I ride my dirtbike so I will prolly start wearing my knee pads on the quad as well.

i wish i would have had some last friday.. i was ridin a wheelie and came down crooked,(on dirtbike), it was on wet black top and it slipped, my knee hit first and i got road rash and some huge bruises.

keep in mind its cheaper to buy the gear in the long run, instead of a huge hospital bill...

I wish I had some when I was at Corral Canyon, this past weekened, took a small crash but lots of brusies, and a bang up right knee, and I think I broke my right pinky finger, ahhhhhhhhhh

hehe oh well.
but I am going to invest in soem riding knee pads, and chest protector,

Posted by: Dune Surfer

What did you think of coral canyon? Pretty small huh. Can you make to glamis this weekend? Let me know

Knee pads are a good idea, even though I dont have them... I think the government should help make safety gear cheaper, it only makes sense to me. I really need to get some (boots, knee pads, elbow etc I have a chest protector, helmet, work boots and googles) but safety equipment is still pretty expensive. JMO
