Has any one had any experiences (good OR bad) on a Polaris Scrambler 400? I am thinkin of gettin one, but I have to have you guys' opinion first. Do they hold up? Are they fast? I like the fact that it is a 2 stroke tho. Thanx!!

IMO, they are too heavy, i wouldn't even consider buying one unless it had 4 wheel drive, but that's even heavier

Yea, it does have 4 wheel drive. Are they fast, I mean, it is a 400 2-stroke, so it has to be pretty fast.

put some mods on them and boy do they FLY ask anyone whose ridden one, but they are stil heavy, automatic
and well, not very much fun..but they are pretty quick
oh yeah, im pretty sure but i dont think the 400 2 stroke comes in 4x4 i think thats only the 500 4 stroke

My bad, too many scramblers to keep up with, the 500 4x4, 500, and 400. They should rename them.

haha funny you say that, they actually did rename the 400 2 stroke to a Trailblazer this year, not sure about the 500's though

i must say, i rode a piped scrambler 400, and it was almost as fast as my shee, and was a 4x4!

I thought the trailblazer was a 250 2 stroke (245cc)? I think the trailboss is a 250 also, only 4 stroke...
I dunno that much about polaris, the nearest polaris dealer around here is about an hour drive.

they are pretty quick buggers. i was suprised at their speed. i dragged a friend of mine with my 400ex, and we were neck and neck the whole way. then he rolled it trying to do donuts in shale...what a puttz

They added the Trailblazer 400 new for this year. They still have the 250 though. The Trail boss was 250 years before, but changed to 325, then to 330.

Mine has no trouble outrunning my brother's piped Banshee. The problem with Scramblers is if you ride them like a sport quad they will break and break often.
