well my bro ripped his 400 down to adjust the valves so i swiped the plastic and just tried to get and idea what it would take to make it fit heres some pics. i'm def doing it so if you have any yellow 400 plastic i might be intrested

The 300ex tanks kinda takes away from the good looks of 400ex plastic. I guess it looks alright though

it looks like a 250ex to me in the 1st pic, all those gaps by the tank and the seat make it ugly, it needs to be longer

you bought a 400ex hood scoop to mount on your 300ex plastic right?....i don't care if it's not mounted,
just lay it on the plastic so that it looks mounted, and take a few pics......

i just need an idea of what it will look like...how long, how wide. all that..

lmao, why dont you bu a 300ex hood scoop, its made for it and dont have to worry abouy wich scoop for what bike comes with different mounts etc

that scoop looks like a pigs nose....you know the little billet things you can put in the hole on 250/400 scoop...well they need to make a billet piece with 2 hole's for the 300's scoop...[00]

oh yeah, and it mount in place of the stock 300ex hood. i'm running the maier 300 race front, no hood to replace...
...glad they tried, but they missed.

have you ever thought of buying a 400? they have more power,better suspension, and i herd they come factory with that 400ex plastic. j/k my buddy was going to try that and didnt think it would ever line up right.

i wish i could have got one. my bro has one (obviously) so sometimes i just ride it but the 300 is keeping me back alot so maybe soon i can sell the 300 and get a 400
