Does anyone here run in Utility classes? Thinking seriously about getting one and running in one of those classes. What would be one of the best quads to get for good handling and power? Good balanced handling would prob be most important to me.
Thanks.

V-Force or Praire 650

For a utility class I would run a Rancher350 2x4 , not the fastest ute out there but they are pretty quick, reliable and handle pretty well. plus they don't feel all that heavy when comapred to other work quads.

Stopped at the dealers today to see whats what. Yep, that prairie 650 looked nice, also looked at the smaller prairie, 360 i think.
Looked at a yamaha kodiak 400 4X4/2 auto also. seems nice.
Sat on a Kawi 700 V force. nice, i just dont need that kinda power.
I do know i want auto, 4wd, with 2wd/4wd switchable.
The local honda dealer was out of about everything.

deff. a wolverine or a griz. both fast and reliable. my friend has a wolverine with a big gun slip on and all tracks. that's a good setup. the bike runs really strong and has alot of hop up potential casue it's a warrior motor. the griz i know is fast cause when he raced a h/s with me there was a guy on a griz with a hmf pipe and he would get rocked on every straight. there were also 3 praies all of them got smoked.

There is no way a Wolverine smoked a praire, even a 660 Grizz w/ a slip on is not going to smoke one. They must have been 360 Prarie's

It is all about how fast the rider is. I raced a rancher at a harescramble last year. I had everybody beat by over five minutes, until I broke the axle 3 miles from the finish.

MacBlaster,
ya, hopefully i'll be there, if it doesnt get rescheduled again. SGA, want me to bring my dads quad? It would be perfect for him, and if it dont make it through the tight sections he can make his own trail with it, lol
