When I take off off my parking brake what kind of clutch lever should I put on there that works as good as the factory lever, someone says u can put a raptor purch and lever is that true, I dont want to spend 2 much money on a new one.

For a 400ex!

I got a MSR Raptor Clutch lever and it is great.

A CR250 lever will work fine also.

Basically you are just getting rid of the extra parking brake crap on the lever.

I love my RTC Cluch/Brake Assembly

Posted by: EXDUNER127

do these pull as easy as the stock lever, and which one would be
better msr raptor , cr250, or that ctr one in liability and pull?

Posted by: nacs400ex

I have a magnum lever, if it breaks I am just gunna get a CR125 or 250 lever.

I have two friends with them, and both ended up selling em' because they snapped cables all the time.

I have a Magnum EZ-pull and i got that and a new cable, and my pull is lighter than stock! i love it, it was around $30

Posted by: Moto92

Ive never had any problems with my PEP, had it for a year now
Where can you get that Magnum EZ pull at BK

Posted by: Bunkerking217

i got it at my Local store. im not sure where they got it from. i get cost on all my stuff, so thats why i paid that, im not sure how much it would cost you....

i bought a xr clutch and perch...

Posted by: QuadTrix6

i run the PEP easy pull its definetly a lighter pull than stock, if you keep it adj properly it won't snap, i never snapped mine yet

Posted by: toby400ex

i love my msr raptor perch and lever, they are pretty strong too and alot easier to pull than the stock ones. Not too mention the neato grip on the lever, check out rockymountain.com, they have em for pretty cheap:blah

PEP is not a good clutch pearch, i ahd one and i ahd problems with it braking cables and not staying adjust right, then the adjuster finaly stripped out, i have recently bought an MSR raptor and its great, but i would go with rippinitup7 on RTC, ive sat on his quad with those levers installed and they feel great, i can pull the clutch in with only my pinky, i highly recmoend getting them from baldwin motorsports, but they are a tad to expensive for me right now so as of now, its MSR for me

Posted by: freeride132

how are u breakin them????????????? mine doesnt hurt the cable at all and i have no problems keepin mine adjusted

well uhh i had mine for over a year and i rode like every day all day in the summer, dust gets in their and makes the cable harder to pull, then it breaks blah blah.....i bought a new cable and i kept up on keeping it lubed so it would stay easy to pull, it stayed easy but cable still broke after a few months...then the things to adjust it stripped, i guarantee you if you buy a new pearch and lever, you will never go back to PEP
