Great race this weekend, crystal clear skys, large turnout. EXrider members did well. Met quite a few members and racers. Got some great pics. Heres a few, i'll post more tommorow.
I took a ton of pics, if you raced, I may have caught you. I got all of the classes at the start, am and pm

Heres POPO at the finish line. He pitted with the skid plate flapping, we zip tied it up, gave the quad a drink of gas and sent him on. Way to go POPO!

Maxxis has a better contingency program than ITP.

I don't think you gonna find the answer your looking for! Its like asking which is better Ford or Chevy? Its all in what you like, they are both great products, you won't go wrong with either one.

MojaveKing, ya pretty much. I had trouble with flats when I ran Razor's a few years ago, the Razor 2's are supposed to be better about that but they are a little to get.

Yep, had a great time. I really enjoyed helping pit for the guys. Nothing serious broke, but I had the zip ties and duct tape ready, just in case

I'll be glad to email pics to anyone that was in the race. Got alot of closeups at the start. Just PM me and let me know if you raced AM or PM, and what class you raced. I'll send you what I have of that class start.

WOW! look at the compression on those front ELKA's. Talk about a chubb.... No more donuts!!! all went slow, no arm pump to battle this time. Some day I'll be fast.

Where was the "Urban Legend" at?

I think monkeyboy was there. Seem to be missing beer out of my trailer

For Sale, badly beaten AC skid plate. Sorry no bolts come with, some where on course.

I know for a fact that bolt was tight 3 PPL checked it.............one of them lil kids picking up easter eggs must have loosened it up....................Mabey it was Bill's Daughter....lol J/K

popo stoped during the race when I was stranded on the track and gave me his tools to fix my problem and get back in the race or at least on the track. Thanks a lot popo I owe you one!

Its all coming back to me now! The guy had to swerve because someone on a gas gas cut right in front of him!, yessir cut the poor boy off! Me and the blind guy next to me saw it all!

Nah, you didnt cause it, he just zigged when he shoulda zagged. It didn't flip, the quad just fell over on its side. He was ok, pushed it back over and was on his way in seconds.

Well that's good to hear that I didn't cause it and the guy was hurt. I hate the starts do to everyone banging into each other like it's the last straightaway before the finish.

Off that start I had guys on both sides of me trying to pinch me into backing off their wheels rubbed a little and then I was able to get away. I was just wandering if one of those guys was the one that got sideways got t-boned because he glance off one of my tires. Good to hear that wasn't the case. Most races I will back off when that happens, but for some reason I didn't this race.

MX racing the holeshot is everything I think..but in XC the way I see it (not including top few classes..pro, pro prod, and A) but all the jackazz's that get out front and knock everyone into trees are normally the guys to find the deepest mudholes and wrong spots to climb hills. I dont' wanna be out front that's fer dang sure..I'll follow and use them as my birddogs....

I think the only reason my picture got posted was becuase only 2 GasGas finished that race, me and Scott F. (pro rider) and how you guys talk about him I'd think you'd rather have me pictured in the rag than him.

I agree with you on the importantance of th holeshot in xc, but you need to have decent start to stay in front of those bottle necks. I try to get around the bottom half of the top 10.

Jeff,

You might not have been the one, but some poeple on here where saying he was a little strange and some other stuff I don't care to mention. As for him racing the GasGas and Cannondale. Round 1 he was on a GasGas, round 2 on the cannondale, not sure for round 3 what he was riding, but round 4 he was on the GasGas again. Don't know the deal with this, but that' what I saw. IF you look at the results for round 1 it has him listed on the GasGas.

I can say that Scott is a very fast rider. Also one hell of a nice guy. I know that he was on the Gas Gas at round 4 B/c he burned the clutch out of his C-dale. But i raced against him last year at the Casey, Ill District 17 races. Also at 1 district 15 race. he goes to Haspin. i have raced against him at all of those and he is really a good rider and a nice guy. Really good friends with Kevin Wall 250A rider.

My question then does anyone know which quad Scott plans on riding most of the season on? Or it just going to come down to which one is running come ran time. Also has anyone heard his option on the GasGas quad (what he likes/dislikes).
