Yeah i feel bad for the old girl, its gonna snap in half one of these days.

The jump was throwin me pretty good. I wouldn't be pullin crap off if it wasnt'

It kinda sucked, the first time i pulled the cliffhanger off, my foot hit the kill switch and I bout endoed.. I was freakin out, but i landed alright. Now I learned to turn the kill switch facing up.

ITs by a small town called bussey in souther Iowa. Thats all I know

Posted by: jaywoodsrider

i might have to look that place up, the only place iv'e been to is 600 acres

Posted by: trueblue450

Yeah I go on 163, then take a er.... right on a road, and follow the sign that says bluff creek. Its bout halfway from osky to ottumwa but to the west a little. If you go to www.iowaohv.com there should be directions. Prolly the best place to ride in iowa.

Yeah I wish I wasn't stupid and got a 300.. Suspension and power is holding me back. But im so poor with college right now I cant afford to buy a 400 and pimp it out.

I feel your pain .

Posted by: WOT400ex

You dont need power for freestyle unless your run-up is skimpy.

Why not get some elka's :confused2

Posted by: trueblue450

I'll run the works until I snap my frame or my shocks

Posted by: AC 400 ex 02

yeah the 300 lacks both power and suspension compared to the 400 but its still a nice quad, if only it had more balls and suspension

Posted by: jaywoodsrider

Sweet, i live in ottumwa during the week, now all i need is a truck.

Posted by: trueblue450

its prolly 20-30 mins from ottumwa. you should go..

Posted by: trueblue450

there yah go

Posted by: 300EXrider02

300ex man, I got some works for my 300, and 400ex a-arms and a raptor rear shock with 400ex spring, the suspension is so much better for jumping, makes a world difference and not that much money, you should do it, there works dual rates custom fit to 400ex a-arms, big big difference over stock

I will get some pics of me jumping, as soon as it gets warm, right now i am in the process of making a table top, about as big as the one you were jumping and I will do some showing off to

except I hopefully wont roll over

Posted by: trueblue450

I'm running works, I just dont have 400 a-arms.

I;m sure it gives yah a few inches of travel.

Posted by: Nausty

hey 300exman you should come to Joes tomarrow, i've been there all day and i'm going back tomarrow. Theres a nice step down that I did and where the old triple use to be is being turned into a huge step up. Its gonna be massive. It should be done by tomarrow.

Darn, I wish I woulda checked this.

You clear the step-up?

Posted by: serialthrlla

300ex man, so you gonna take this one on? JK

Posted by: trueblue450

hah..

yeah I have actually see quads attempt it..

Then go rollin back down the hill.

one of my friends on a bike did it but his back tire clipped the top and he went flying off.

That things just wild.

Posted by: serialthrlla

I think I met you there a couple weeks ago 300ex_man. I had the yellow 400ex and we had that red utulity that we were jumping also.

Posted by: tants

nice

Posted by: Nausty

I have never seen that step up jump before. Where is it at? lol, I might wanna try that out. Serial thrilla do you think 3rd gear pinned could clear it?

Posted by: serialthrlla

Nausty, you really haven't seen that at bussey. I personally havn't seen a quad try it but from what I hear, it takes fourth pinned, and there's not a very good run at it for a quad. I've seen many bikes make it no problem. last time I was there, a few people said they saw a few quads make it but they always go over the bars when the back tires clip the edge. the picture doesn't really shopw it's intimidation, it's a wicked ***** jump

Yup that was me man.

You guys were wicked on that utility.

Posted by: 250EXking

awsome pics dude. i wish my 250ex would get the high without coming down like a ton of bricks

Posted by: QuAdRaCeR244

great pictures! keep up the good work

Posted by: Regulator 250X

Hey Nausty, havent posted here in a while. Wondering if you are going to be racing D22 this summer? Im going to try my hardest to race them, but there is a track in Minnesota that im going to race for sure since they actually have a class for my kind of quad. Anyways i saw the pic of your 400, that thing is pretty trick. Think youll be racing in CR or mason city at all this year? Also you missed a kick *** first race of the year at Winterset! Let me know what you are up to!!

Posted by: Nausty

yeah i'm gonna be racing d22 this year. I was gonna go to the race at Winterset but I decided on practicing at bussey instead. I'm gonna be practicing at Winterset tomarrow and racing CR saturday. Maybe i'll see you???

Posted by: Regulator 250X

Sorry, Nausty... I wont be doing much for a little while. I messed my back up a couple weeks ago so I prolly wont be racing till after finals in early may. Plus i gotta get my Kenda Klaws on the front and my new clutch in. But I know my buddy will be racing A class at CR on Saturday. Look for #3 Jeramie Johnson, Nac's sponsored 250R. He should fair pretty well in the A class i think. Well good luck at CR! what class are you racing by the way???

Posted by: Nausty

I was gonna run B but I think i'm just gonna run the top of C for a few races and maybe move up to B. I've ridden on CR once and other than that is all i've done is waterloo which is done for. So now I gotta learn all the tracks. Anyways I like coming out in the top five all the time and working my way through the pack.

Posted by: trueblue450

How'd you run in CR?? did it get rained out. I went to race at Humboldt IA. But we got rained out. BOOOOOOOOOO!

Posted by: oynot400

Yes CR got rained out. I was really looking forward to the start of the racing season there. Now it will not be until the middle of May before I can go. The next race is the same weekend as Red Bud.

Posted by: trueblue450

Not selling the quad oynot?

I might try CR. That track last year was sweet, but I don't know if I wanna join ama again.. Can't seem to scrounge up 50 bucks for the ama and d22 cards. + race fees.

CR doesnt have a race till may? darn

Posted by: oynot400

I am selling the 463, it will end up on ebay one of these weeks. CR races every other weekend. The next race, unless they make up last weeks, will be May 3rd. I will not be there, since I am going to Red Bud, to watch.
I know what you mean about the ama card and distric fees. I would not mind it if I raced every race. I will run CR a couple of times though. I kind of liked Burlington's track, I think we are going run that one a few times also. This coming Sunday is the first race at Flintbottom.

Posted by: Regulator 250X

oynot400, What class did you race in last year at CR? I raced there bout 5 times last year in C class...

300EX_man, what kind of track is there in Humbolt? I had no idea they even had one there...

Posted by: trueblue450

MX track.. its a non ama sanctioned. But its no A,B,or C class. Its all together. There's bout every quad I saw there...

Posted by: oynot400

I have run CR. I have gone for practice days. I ran Flint Bottom last year. It was the same nights as CR, so I could not run both. I did run Waterloo last year a few times. I ran B class up there.

Posted by: snowpro_02

Those aren't pictures of you, those are of me. What are you doing?!?! Crazy B@sterd. J/k Nice ridin, you guys can ride awesome, I've seen you both race and you guys are good.
